 SITTING SERVICES:

What is required for your sitting services?

We require all appointments (grooming and pet sitting) to have an initial consultation before your service can be provided. We refer to this as a “meet and greet.”  This consultation will be an opportunity to interact with and learn about your pets, take notes about your home and required tasks, and discuss your pet’s specific needs.

There is no cost associated with a meet and greet consultation.

What is required for your in-home sitting services?

Your home must be in liveable conditions. Your pet must be up-to-date with her or her vaccinations. Dogs must be up to date with their bordetella, and rabies vaccines.

Cats must be up to date on their rabies vaccines

Can my pets board with you, if in-home sitting is not an option?

A: Yes, we do offer boarding in our home based location, however availability may be limited on a case by case basis. For example, older pets who are unable to climb stairs and have joint or muscle pain would not be eligible for boarding in our facility.  These exclude older pets, pets who require medication especially, we want him or her to be completely comfortable. We are usually able to accommodate them more by staying in-house.

What is a potty break?

Potty breaks are anywhere between 10-15 min.  These differ from walks because these are solely to let your fur baby out for a bathroom break. Potty breaks can also be  recurring or routinely scheduled for clients who have a flexible schedule.

Can an emergency or last minute potty break be scheduled?

We do offer emergency potty breaks. These are great to utilize if you are ever running late or are unable to walk or feed your fur baby for any reason.  An additional fee of $25 will be charged for potty breaks needed outside of our normal hours.

How long are walks?

Walks can range anywhere between 10-30 min. These are different from potty breaks, because they are longer and are intended to be a physical activity for your fur baby.  These times may vary or if there is heavy or severe weather or if a pet is limited to short walks for medical reasons.. Most walks are typically based on your pet's normal routine.

Do you have any references?

We do provide contact information for references upon request.

Do you have a backup plan in case of a personal emergency?

Yes, we will refer you to other pet sitters in the area or see if we are able to get you in contact with a local boarding facility. Life does happen and in the chances that we do have to cancel any upcoming appointment,  we will let you know as soon as possible. We currently have two on-call sitters and we’re currently in the process of building and expanding our team of caregivers and sitters.

What types of animals do you pet sit?

We will sit for a wide range of pets including: dogs, cats, birds, rodents, reptiles and fish.
